Food and Clothing Assistance
When people eat well and feel good about their appearance, it boosts their overall well-being. Health and self-esteem are essential for everyone. Proper nourishment and clothing are just as important as having a safe place to live. We believe that no one’s self-worth or confidence should be diminished by tough times or discomfort. S.O.A.R. is dedicated to providing families in need with quality clothing and nutritious food donations to support their well-being.
Employment Services
SOAR is an approved vendor with the Division of Vocational Rehabilitation (VR) and we are happy to serve VR’s customers.
We provide employment services and work readiness training to individuals with disabilities and learning differences. We help individuals secure and maintain employment with the support of an Employment Specialist. The Employment Specialist works closely with job seekers to create a personalized career plan, set goals, and develop strategies for navigating the workforce. We also offer assistance with career negotiation and on-the-job training. Our goal is to support job seekers in finding fulfilling career paths. Employment Services are funded by Florida’s Division of Vocational Rehabilitation (VR).

Veteran Transitional Peer to Peer Support
S.O.A.R. deeply honors the sacrifices made by our servicemen and servicewomen. We understand that the transition from military to civilian life can be particularly challenging, especially for those dealing with invisible struggles. Many veterans silently face difficulties with adaptation, adjustment, and unhealthy coping mechanisms. Our mission is to offer peer-to-peer support, ensuring that no veteran has to navigate this journey alone. With the guidance of veterans who have successfully made their own transitions, we are committed to building a supportive community that encourages healthy coping strategies and helps veterans lead fulfilling lives after their service.
